Advanced Classes
Class Description Guild Races
Cleric The cleric is a devout man who specialize in holy magic that can heal wounds as well as provide greater ability in battle. They rely somewhat on their physical toughness (constitution), but mostly depend on their piety so they are granted divine favor and magic. Clerics are important in groups, both for augmenting the combat abilities of their allies on the front line and keeping them alive and well during battle. For self defense, they can use studded armor and shields, although they are best on the back lines in battle. Church of Albion Briton, Avalonian, Highlander
Friar The friar class is a group of wandering healers that focuses on healing and combat with their favored weapon, the staff. However, in training so rigorously in the staff, they forsake training in armor and other weapons... Defenders of Albion Briton, Avalonian, Highlander
Armsman Armsmen are the masters of arms and armor, giving up all magical abilities to devote all their energies to mastering the use of weapons and armor. They can use any type of melee weapon or armor except those that are specifically enchanted for other classes. They are the only class that can use polearms. They are unmatched when it comes to proficiency in the arts of melee combat. In ranged combat, they are proficient with crossbows. They also learn combat styles that let them make devastating attacks when certain opportunities arise. They also train in techniques that allow them to shield their weaker realmmates. Defenders of Albion Briton, Avalonian, Saracen, Highlander
Mercenary The mercenary is a warrior for hire who are trained in the use of most single-handed weapons, as well as the use of short bows. They, along with the infiltrator, are the only classes that can fight with a weapon in each hand. They tend to rely more on speed and prowess than brute force. They, like the armsman, gain combat styles allowing them to make powerful attacks when the correct opening arises. The Guild of Shadows Briton, Avalonian, Saracen, Highlander
Paladin The paladin is a man who has devoted his life to the Church of Albion, although he has more combat ability than the Cleric. He can swing a blade nearly as well as the armsman, but also has magic that aids his group in combat. He is not as proficient in healing/augmenting as the cleric, or as proficient in combat as the armsman, but he is important in groups nonetheless. Church of Albion Briton, Avalonian, Saracen, Highlander/td>

At the academy, they study spells that enable them to control and manipulate the minds of their enemies. The Academy Briton, Avalonian, Saracen

Then, when he joins the Defenders of Albion, he begins to learn magic of the Earth, including summoning Earth Elementals to aid them in combat. Later on in their careers, they learn spells that aid siege warfare. Defenders of Albion Briton, Avalonian
Wizard The Circle of Wizardry is a very exclusive group, made up of followers of the same school of magic followed by Merlin. They only allow Avalonians, citing their magnificent intellectual abilities. The wizard focuses on elemental magic, harnessing the power of water, fire, earth, and air. Like the sorcerer, they wear only their regular clothes as armor, and use a staff in melee combat, although a wizard is much more useful on the back lines using his magic. The Academy Briton, Avalonian
Infiltrator The infiltrator is a master of stealth, spying, and backstabbing. They can wear leather armor and use swords. They are the best class for spying on enemy realms. Guild of Shadows Briton, Saracen
Minstrel The minstrel is a master of storytelling and music, using the magical properties of his songs. He is somewhat proficient in combat, being able to use several kinds of armor and using slashing or thrusting weapons. They are very useful in groups, where their songs can have profound effects on the group's performance The Academy Briton, Saracen, Highlander
Scout Scouts are masters of the deadly Briton Longbow, as well as tracking and moving around quickly. They can use up to studded armor. Their specialty is the bow and sneak attacks, although if they are forced to fight up close they can do so. They are most at home using stealth abilities to perform sneak attacks, such as backstabs.
